On 31st July 2021, the virtual session of CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWN Series with miniature painter Shri Mandeep Sharma from Udaipur was organised through FACEBOOK. CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWNLIVE Series is initiated by Rajasthan Forum, presented by Shree Cement Ltd. Prior to the live session, Rajasthan Forum Member & Padmashri S. Shakir Ali introduced the guest painter and greeted the viewers watching the session online. The evening started with introduction by Shri Mandeep Sharma. During this conversation, Mandeep shared about his education, and painting journey. He shared that he inherited the culture of painting from his mother and father. Painting on marble has been the main source of livelihood for his family. From childhood, his inclination towards this art was born. He also shared that he is very fond of music and he always listens to music while making paintings. He discribed about his Radha Krishna paintings and many such religious subjects along with many historical paintings. Rohit Sonagra

On 29th May 2021, the virtual session of CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWN Series with renowned Kathak Dancer Rohit Sonnagra from Jaipur was organised through FACEBOOK. CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWNLIVE Series is initiated by Rajasthan Forum, presented by Shree Cement Ltd. Prior to the live session, Rajasthan Forum Member & Kathak Guru Dr. Guru Shashi Sankhala introduced the guest artist and greeted the dance enthusiasts watching the session online. The event started with the introduction by Shri Rohit Sonagra. The musical evening started with traditional compositions of the Jaipur Gharana in Teen Taal. Further, Rohit performed in three rhythms, thaat, aamad and uthaan. Rohit’s footwork was so powerful during the rhythm that every single movement was felt effortlessly.
The online Kathak lovers were engrossed in his session. He was accompanied by his father and Guru Shri Rajesh Sonagra on harmonium and his brother Prashant Sonagra on tabla. The session was viewed in large number and viewers were mesmerised by the performance.

Tasneem Khan

On 28th August 2021, the virtual session of CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWN Series with rising writer Ms. Tasneem Khan from Jaipur was organised through FACEBOOK. CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWNLIVE Series is initiated by Rajasthan Forum, presented by Shree Cement Ltd. Prior to the live session, Rajasthan Forum Member Shri Ikraam Rajasthan introduced the artist. and greeted the viewers watching the session online. The evening started with introduction by Ms. Tasneem Khan. Tasneem Khan, shared sharing about her education, career and literary journey. She shared about the inclination of her family towards reading, gave birth to the love for literature in her since childhood and how gradually it became passion. Talking about the writing aspects, Tasneem shared that to become a writer, one has to dedicate many years of their life. Before entering the world of literature, literature has to be read and understood. One has to prepare themself for psychological analysis of the society. Dr. Jeevan Singh

On 26th June 2021, the virtual session of CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWN Series with renowned poet Dr. Jeevan Singh from Alwar was organised through FACEBOOK. CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWNLIVE Series is initiated by Rajasthan Forum, presented by Shree Cement Ltd.
Prior to the live session, Rajasthan Forum Member & eminent Shri Ashok Rahi introduced the guest writer and greeted the viewers watching the session online. The evening started with introduction by Dr. Jeevan Singh. He shared about his literary journey and the effect of village and folk on his literature. He also shared about the essence of music in literature. He shared about the folk literature and music of Albakshi Khayals. He alsa narrated about his experiences of Jurhara’s Ramleela. During the session, he memsmerized the audience by singing one of the mand folk songs and small portion of Ramleela. Kaviraj Laique

On 19th June 2021, the virtual session of CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWN Series with renowned theatre artist Shri Kaviraj Laique from Udaipur was organised through FACEBOOK. CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWNLIVE Series is initiated by Rajasthan Forum, presented by Shree Cement Ltd. Prior to the live session, Rajasthan Forum Member & multifaceted artist Ms. Ila Arun introduced the guest artist and greeted the viewers watching the session online.
The evening started with introduction by Kaviraj Laique. The play was based on the Hindu epic Mahabharata, Veer Arjuna also had a name ‘Varhanalla’. Arjuna had spent his one-year exile in the form of Varhanalla in the Matsya kingdom of Virat King. He brought alive this unique character of Mahabharata with his strong acting and effective style of dialogue delivery. Kaviraj also briefed about the various aspects of his Rang Yatra. Through the act, Kaviraj tried to make a comparative study of the Mahabharata and the present society. The session was viewed in large number and viewers were impressed by his art.

Pt. Mahendra Shankar Dangi

On 22nd May 2021, the first virtual session of CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWN Series with with renowned musicians Pt. Mahendra Shankar Dangi and Pt. Manohar Lal Tak from Jaipur was organised through FACEBOOK. After successfully completing 44 episodes of lockdown live series to promote and support artists in various parts of Rajasthan, CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWNLIVE Series is initiated by Rajasthan Forum, presented by Shree Cement Ltd. Prior to the live session, Rajasthan Forum Chairman Padma Bhushan Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt threw light on the activities of the Forum, introduced the guest artist and greeted the music enthusiasts watching the session online. The event started with the introduction by Pt. Mahendra Shankar Dangi. He shared about his musical journey in a breif. The musical evening started with composition by performing teen taal than peshkaar, kayade, rela, gat and Tipalli. Pt. Mahendra Shankar Dangi and Pt. Manohar Lal Tak won the hearts of music lovers by making a deep performance of his rhythm The session was viewed in large number and viewers were awestruck by the performance.

Nibha Narang

On 21st August 2021, the virtual session of CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWN Series with renowned Kathak Dancer Ms. Nibha Narang from Delhi was organised through FACEBOOK. CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWNLIVE Series is initiated by Rajasthan Forum, presented by Shree Cement Ltd. Prior to the live session, Rajasthan Forum Member Padmashri Gulabo Devi introduced the artist. Rajasthan Forum member Ms. Saleha Ghazi greeted the viewers watching the session online. The evening started with introduction by Ms. Nibha Narang. Nibha Narang is a disciple of Dr. Shashi Sankhla, a senior dance guru of the Jaipur Gharana of Kathak. Nibha started a soulful presentation of the dance of Jaipur Gharana of Kathak with a dance based on ‘Rangila Shambhu’ Vandana. She demonstrated the technical side of Kathak- the physical balance and strong footwork in the performance with different aspects. Further, she performed a graceful act on the composition Taniya Resham Ki based on Maand Raga. Moving forward, her performance also brought alive the “Govardhan Leela” poem composed by dance guru Pt Narayan Prasad. Dr. Deshraj Meena

On 17th July 2021, the virtual session of CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWN Series with senior theatre artist Shri Deshraj Meena from Alwar was organised through FACEBOOK. CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWNLIVE Series is initiated by Rajasthan Forum, presented by Shree Cement Ltd. Prior to the live session, Rajasthan Forum Member & Executive Secretary Ms. Apra Kuchhal introduced the guest writer and greeted the viewers watching the session online. The evening started with introduction by Shri Deshraj Meena. During the program, he narrated the story of his theatrical struggle. He had an inclination towards the arts from the beginning and with the inspiration of Alwar’s senior poet Balveer Singh Karun, he first worked in a TV film After this, he first got the opportunity to work as a set designer in the Dilip Bairagidirected drama Ashadh Ka Ek Din in Alwar.. Gaurav Jangam

He shared that any drama or act is good only. The play or actor can be good or very good but never bad. He also shared his experiences with different plays. During the session, he acted small portions from Ashok Rahi’s play Rangoli Bhagmati; Ramdhari Singh’s Rashmi Rathi and Nirmal Verma’s play “Ded Inch Upar”. Rajaram Sharma

On 12th June 2021, the virtual session of CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWN Series with renowned painter Shri Rajaram Sharma from Udaipur was organised through FACEBOOK. CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWNLIVE Series is initiated by Rajasthan Forum, presented by Shree Cement Ltd. Prior to the live session, Rajasthan Forum Member & illustrious painter Padmashri S. Shakir Ali introduced the guest artist and greeted the viewers watching the session online.
On this occasion, While sharing about his artistic journey, Artist Raja Ram shared that like his father and forefathers, he was also a stone sculptor and made God idols for temples apart from building houses. Later he learned the traditional pichwai painting. He narrated about his pichwai paintings based on Lord Shrinath.
During the conversation, he demonstrated a lively display of his skills by drawing a picture of Lord Shrinath ji. The session was viewed in large number and viewers were impressed by his art.

Prior to the live session, Rajasthan Forum Member Padmashri Tilak Gitai introduced the artist and greeted the viewers watching the session online. The evening started with introduction by Dr. Deepak Bhatt. Deepak, shared about his artistic journey. Deepak narrated about the conept behind his paintings and the inspirations behind it. He also showed a video of his painting done on a wooden box which is about 200 years old. Deepak shared about his paintings made by etching method. He also shared about his graphic design work. Pt. Harihar Sharan Bhatt

On 10th July 2021, the virtual session of CHATURRANG #LOCKDOWN Series with renowned sitar player Pt. Harihar Sharan Bhatt from Jaipur was organised through FACEBOOK. The evening started with introduction by Pt. Harihar Sharan Bhatt. During the program, Pt. Harihar shared the story of his musical journey from Alwar to Jaipur. He got his music from his father Pt. Raghuveer Sharan Bhatt, who himself was also a great sitar player. The musical evening started with his performance on the raga Miyan Ki Malhar on Sitar and then concluded the session with Raga Mishr Peelu. The viewers were mesmerised by the performance of Pt. The evening started with introduction by Shri Chand Sheri. Chand Sheri, shared about his literary journey. he narrated many compositions from his ghazal collections. The sufiana expressions of his narrated composition ‘Tu Na Amrit Ka Pyala De Humse, Sirf Roti Ka Niwala De Humme’ impressed the audience. Chand Sheri shared that he has always been writing compositions on the feelings of unity and brotherhood.
